In review 5 days?

Dear everyone to whom this may concern,
My app has been in review for 5 days now and I am beginning to get worried, is this normal? Do you think this is a mistake? Should I just reject my binary?,

    My apps been in "Processing for App Store" for like 4 or 5 days. I'm going to wait til its been a week then email Apple. If I were you I'd either wait or email them, instead of risking having to wait a long time.

    I emailed them got a response back saying "we checked in iTunes connect your app says in review" "we will pass your email onto our advanced review teams" I got this 2 days ago and nothing back from there "advanced" review teams, thanks anyway,

    Hey guys,

    Since I've been here, about 7 or 8 months, I have seen people ask this before.
    I believe, although I could be wrong, that it does most often take a week or so to get submitted into the app store.
    Perhaps a quick search would do the trick?

    Usually about 10 days when I've done it. Being that it's closer to Xmas I expect there are more reviews to be done too.

    Generally mine are in Review that long when they have been rejected and resubmitted. It goes back into review fast and just sits like a week.

    I've had it waiting for review from 2 days to 2 weeks before.

    WOW!! Thanks for all th responses guys, they're great, i thought 5 days was long as i got an app reviewed in 1 day before, thanks a lot

    @Fallacystudios Ya mine got rejected and i just resubmitted it and now its in review

    @Singlesparq yes your probably right, it probably will take longer coming up to xmas
    @Barydon_SFX Ive been hear 7-8 months too!! :) but i didn't come across a thread on this, only "How long does it take to review?"

    I don't want to open another thread for the sake of a mor or less the same question but

    i recently uploaded a new app and i want to know: how long does it take to change from upload recieved to waiting for review because so far its after taking 2 hours and my other app that i submitted to 4 minutes

    Takes a while sometimes. Probably up to 1 day.

    Last two took 7 days each with 2 of the days being a weekend.

    My apps are always 4 / 5 day in "Waiting for review" and less then 24 hours "In Review". I think it's pretty quick!

    Thanks!! Ya the zoo got through after 10 days, but my second app got true after 2 days, I dunno they vary i guess!! :),
