when i pressed "Left", the actor goes left with "run animation." then i set "If" i press "Left" and "Shoot", the actor will go left and shoot with "run & shoot animation.". ("run animation" and "run & shoot animation" are 2 different animations) The problem is that when i press Left and Shoot, GS creates conflict and mix with those 2 animations. How to solve this conflict?

I am learning GS and trying to create a game like Contra for my first GS game. please help!

Hi, I'm pretty new two GS but i think i can help,

In the first rule for "Run only" animation, set the If/When to have two attributes:
so If "Left" is pressed/true AND If "Shoot" is not pressed/false, show "Run animation",
and in the second rule for "Run & Shoot":
set If "Left" is pressed/true AND "Shoot" is pressed/true, show "Run & Shoot animation".

    Hope that helps
