Sliding characters into other characters :)

Hi, so i am trying to design a new game .... what i would like to do is to slide characters into walls etc. Like the game Amazing Breaker http://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/amazing-breaker/id421088863?mt=8 , where you slide a character into an object. and what rules would i use? :)
