Two Players each with a slider on iPad at same time?

I'm working on a two-player game and have run into a problem. Each side of the screen has a ball that is moveable by the players finger, but unfortunately only one can be moved at a time. Once a player releases the touch on a ball, the other player can operate his. I've tried doing this with a "touch area" and by directly manipulating the object, but two simultaneously held touches doesn't seem to work. If I make one a two-finger touch (Devices-Touches-Touch 2) instead of Touch 1 it works, but this obviously isn't ideal. Any thoughts?

Hey I had the same issue, I tried and tried and finally got it. Email me at weswog@gmail.com and I can send you a file that fixes that issue.

A big thank you to Weswog for helping me out with this. I'll write up a description of how to make this work if anyone else is having the same issue.
