Mac App Store adhoc?

Hey guys!

I'm about to make my first venture into the Mac App Store, and was wondering how did you officially test your game before release? Do you just make an Ipad version, and if it works there, its good?

    You can publish to the mac desktop anytime without a provisioning profile and run the program as it would run from a Mac app Store Download. I believe if you publish with a provisioning profile you will be given a signed app that you submit and then an unsigned standalone app that you can play right on your mac.

    So I cannot open my unsigned app unless I have mac developer provisioning profile

    With the new method you need a provisioning profile, but you can test the signed app before uploading.
