Help with a long Max() equation

I have the need to manage 10 letters that are moveable and so when they overlap I need to control the touch to just the top one. I have a formula that works for 7 letters but am having difficulty adding the 3 others. Can anyone who understands this help add the last bit? Thanks.
Heres what I have for 7:

max(max(max(Game.Letter1,Game.Letter2),max(Game.Letter3,Game.Letter4)),max(max(Game.Letter5,Game.Letter6),Game.Letter7))

@tsb .... going to lobby to have you renamed tsa (aka tshirtawesome!) .. thanks buddy, had two old templates for the overlapping stuff both of which had lots of confusing attributes and tracking stuff .... your solution is just perfect.

Yeah, I'm no math guy but that seems like an over complicated way to do what you want.
