in-App Question/Error already

I have created an AdHoc build to test inApp purchase for an update to an App.
I have followed the iAp instructions in the CookBook (setting up in iTunesconnect and GS behaviours) and I am getting this error when hitting the button that I have attached the iAp purchase behaviour:
"Product identifier was not recognized: unlock_app" (this is an Apple error message so something is trying to get thru).

I have made sure the product identifier in iTunes and GS are the same. I am sure the behaviour is pointing to the right cell in the table.

It works fine on the Mac when doing a preview.

I have logged into the the store on my test device using the test user account set up in iTunesconnect also just to be sure.

I am thinking this may be a complication of trying to sandbox iAp thru GS AdHoc builds....? Any thoughts/suggestions are appreciated.

not sure sandbox mode is really working well. even for leadership board i dun really get good response using sandbox.

however you mentioned you are using table together with iap? How's that related?

I have not tried the Newest ProductID setup. The pre-release only let us use an Attribute for the ID. I did have what you are saying once when I made the IAP in itunes connect. But after some time and re-entering the ID in my attribute the new adhoc started recognizing it. It only happened once though so I really have nothing to go on as to what actually caused it. Make sure if you test it some more and still don't get it you send in a bug report to GS.

Apparently it can take up to 24hrs for iTunes connect to sync its data.

Ok thanks @tenrdrmer, @Rob2 I will try these suggestions.

Hope soon there will be a formal guide/way to test iAp with GS. The cookbook is OK but not detailed.
You do not need to have an App in review for iAp sandbox to work do you? Is an AdHoc build actually talking to itunesconnect..and only when you are logged in with a testuser account on your device?

Yes you do need to go log out of your itunes account and then login to your test account. And yes the ad-hoc is talking to itunesconnect when you request it so you will need internet.

No your app does not have to be in-review to test the IAP. But… Make sure you have uploaded your IAP screenshot too I am so busy right now but I will try to find some time this weekend to look at the latest settings and see of if I can do a video.
