Possible to write to table?

I've checked out some of tshirtbooth´s excellent tutorials on tables (gshelper.com), but either I haven't come far enough to learn about how to write to tables, or it's just not possible. Thought I'd ask here before I take my studies further

I tried, for instance, using the "Change Attribute" behavior, but no possibility to edit tables (only read from) appeared there.

have you read the release notes. The current table is read only.

So they are considering making the tables read/write for an upcoming release?

It talks about it here in the 1st post in the 5th paragraph. Release notes are just a list of the new functions, they rarely go into detail about the limits/capabilities of them.

Thanks for clearing that out for me - guess I'll have to take my eyes off my project long enough to read more of the forum

Anyway, they do intend to make the tables read/write in a future version. Great stuff if they do, since it will make tables enormously more usable.

at the current state of being.. table is only half awesome... =( scratch that 1/3 of the awesomeness that it could have been. When i saw the word 'import/export CSV", i thought it was raining gold coins in the Austin sky, later to found out that it's for dev only, not on device...
