Its highly unlikely in a recent post I read they said they didn't want to do that because of people thinking they were promises and then being bummed out when it didn't happen
that's just non-sense... they only need to simply update the roadmap... to reflect what's possible as we go... but perhaps they are not showing it for competitive reason? Toyota doesn't show you their 100 year roadmap(so do most other companies)... it's mostly only for internal use... (and yes toyota does plan 100 years out)

I know there are no real timelines in there but it was a nightmare of complaints when the tentative timelines on the old one were not met. So I highly doubt they will do it again.
basically, right from SSS: @All - Steve's end of year post was essentially the roadmap, and gives a good clear idea of what's in store without providing estimates. I personally feel it's better to give ongoing updates as we have been than to provide pie in the sky estimates. Less disappointment and more realistic expectations for everyone without folks locking onto a specific feature's proposed time frame that could be subject to change.
