Kindle Fire Layout

Okay I have went through and changed all my scenes (a big 2) to "portrait".. Now running on a live Kindle Fire. If I keep the app in under Project Info set it Iphone Portrait It does not look to bad but I do have some black on the top and bottom of the app. I am still new hear so thanks in advance. How do I get this thing to stretch? When I changed it to Kindle Fire it was off the page.

Maybe I am doing something wrong.. I was readying where I could do something with 'camera' maybe because I am new I didn't have the right settings.

    Nope you're going to have that small space on the edges when you use iPhone. You could adjust your scene size in increments to see how it fits. We just use the iPhone and have the black bars we didn't think it was a big deal.

    I've noticed that the blanking area is still live for touch and that you can drag things out of the screen which may effect things for some cases.

    Just putting walls outside the actual game area in GS to stop things being dragged through it should sort that.

    @beefy
    Thats a nasty workaround :/ , this is a major bug and should be fixed fast, it basically brakes "mouse button is down" cause GS will register the behavior when the player accidentally touches the black bars ! it can cause major confusion to the player ..

    Yeah that why I suggested adjusting the scene size attribute to see what size is best.

    Yeh i understand that but in fairness to GS, it wouldn't be an issue if we resized to fill the screen properly and didn't settle on just having black bars!

    When I was doing Android Apps designing three unique interfaces (ldpi, mdpi, and hdpi) what would be the best way to go about supporting all the potential android screens with GS with minimal scaling/distortion?
