Touch bubbles
Hi guys,
First of all, thank you to everyone who's helped me over the past couple of days, I know i've asked quite a few questions, and am really grateful to everyone who has helped, so thanks all.
I now have another question. Basically, the game i'm making is based underwater, and I'm wondering if anyone can advise me on this little idea - basically, if you tap in the water, is there a way to make bubbles appear? I have seen a similar effect in the confetti template that was on the site a couple of months ago, but I cant seem to get the effect looking right.
If anyone has any suggestions on how to achieve this I would love to know - it would really help make the game I'm making more effective.
Thanks all and have a lovely day.
Cheers,
Chris

In the bubbles you have to work out the best way to make it look like you want.
I would also make an actor out of the scene that when the bubbles collide with it, they get destroyed.
Otherwise if you do not spawn to much, I would put them out of the scene at the beginning, then when touch is pressed activate bubbles ( start moving )
and when they leave scene, change self position back to the start Y position.

Alex
hope that helps. Kipper
Here's a test file I did for someone asking about floating objects . . . but it's also got water and bubbles happening so might be some use:
(if you drag the middle bloke down under water he generates bubbles)

Thank you for the above message, yes, I do check the threads, the link above was very useful for 1 part of the effect I was after, to generate bubbles, however, this didn't include the additional effect I was trying to get, however, the above info from old_kipper) did the trick.
Cheers,
Chris
