@ozboybrian Thanks! Watching the tutorial videos has really helped me learn and understand GameSalad. Also having background knowledge in programming as well as other game engines has also really helped me even though they are all completely different. Thanks again!
Thank you @Unicorninvasion That truly means a lot. My sleep has suffered for me to be able to do all this. LOL The only graphic I didn't do was the background image of the High Score page. I give credit to @RKS for that colored background image. I am liking your stuff as well.I am liking everyone's ideas and hard work. Keep up the great work and again thank you!
It's almost 2am here in sunny California and I think I'm done... I have a long list of things that I'm planning to add (death sequence, more enemies, achievements, etc.), but for this competition - the game is ready.
Game is called Soggy Surfer
Our paper guy like to live on the edge. While he is made out of paper, his life passion is surfing. Join him as he go out to sea, help him surf the waves and make sure he will not get wet. You can also make some money on the side by collecting coins that for some reason are floating around the air (happens a lot lately).
What's the catch you ask? Well, the sea is not the only thing you need to watch out for. It seems that between the waves swims an hungry paper shark with an appetite for paper surfers - just make sure you guys don't end up between his teethes...
I spent the last 24 hours working on a new game ... I would use and show it for this but in all honesty, i dont feel comfortable sharing it. I will actually be using it for a full game so I'm afraid i will not be showing it at this stage! Good competition though, nice and fun @ozboybrian ... Please change the music in your game ... its driving me insane! hahaha.
Thanks for organizing it @ozboybrian - it was fun and I'm just glad I'm not a judge, there are some very nice games here.
Actually It was ozboybrians idea to make a challenge for himself... The competition was my Idea and I organized the time/date and that we would have prizes!
