Jerky movement

Just wondering but when I am setting my objects to have 100 velocity in x axis, they are quite jerky and do not move very smoothly, is there anyway to change this so that they move smoothly?

    is there a lot of actors in your scene?

    No, just a background at the moment. But this is the one moving. (960,640)

    Is this in preview, or on your device? Be sure to test it on your device, as preview is not always reliable.

    Well both, but its only a small bit so I guess i'll just get on with it :)
