inside game salad saving screenshots is 320x480, i have an iPhone 3GS and taking screenshots on the device is also 320x480. However apple is requesting 640x960 screenshots.

Any idea of a solution for me to acquire higher res screenshots without an retina graphics iOS device? i have an iPad but for iPhone screenshots tis the wrong resolution..

you could use the viewer on your ipad for the iPhone project and then take your screen shot and scale it down to 640x960. might work out.

beisdes that you will have to use like Photoshop to recreate your scenes in high res.

I really hope now this is a requirement, GameSalad lets us save our screenshots as retina versions when using retina images. Maybe @SaladStraightShooter can see if he can get this added

Yeah thanks tenrdrmer, i had a feeling they were my only available options. Went with taking screenshots on the iPad and resizing them to iPhone format.

Totally agree with beefy_clyro, we need game salad to support high res screenshots within the software!

I put the game on my device, and took picture on that device.
I then sent those images to my computer, thew in some text with Photoshop, and saved.

Probably not the best way, but that's how I did it.

You could run GS viewer on xcode and take the screenshots with it. That's the way I do it.
