Animation Question?

okay so i have an issue with the whole animating thing... so heres my issue... i have a frame that i wanna keep for like 3 seconds but the other frames that follow are only like .1 seconds... is there anyway to animate the seperate keyframes in gamesalad... only because i dont wanna keep that same frame that i wanna for 3 seconds multiplied 30 times... thats ridiculous lol. someone please help
