New to Android - Few Basic Questions

Hey there,
I've got a few questions regarding Android publishing:
• Does the accelerometer work on Android phones?
• What is the best (and cheap) Android phone to buy to test games. (I will ONLY be using it for testing, no contract.)
• When I publish my Android game, which stores does it show up on? Just Google?

Thanks,
Henry

Go to the Unoffical GS guide and I have a whole series on Android publishing.

    Hey Henry!

    1. Yes, the accelerometer works just like it does on the iPhone.
    2. I would recommend of the smaller, cheaper tablets. Precisely because they don't require a contract.
    3. Yes, it just shows up on the Google Play market. You have to join the Nook developer program and the Amazon developer program separately.

    Hope this helps!

I cover how to publish, format and all the developer stores for android in the video series. http://gleesongroupmedia.com/gsguide/gsguide.html

I would recommend the Kindle Fire as it has the largest market share and also is similar to the Samsung tab as we test on both and they are very similar. These are the two biggest markets.
