Change from colour to colour slowly!

How could I do this?
I have a bar, going from right to left and as it goes left I want it to change from red, to yellow and then to white.

Is this possible?

Just interpolate the color attributes to the desired settings each color setting only ranges from 0 to 1 so you may have to play with the color editor to find what setting you are wanting.

do you just want three colors or being smooth all the way?

sort of like that image but I want at first to be just one colour and as the bar reduces, it changes colour..
