Custom actor building in gamesalad

Hey guys, new to gamesalad and new to the boards. I'm building a game where the main mechanic is that the player is able to build a toy out of preloaded art and then have it play out a simple platform game. I'm having trouble figuring out how to get the customization aspect working and i've been banging my head against the wall for a while. so far i just a boolean attribute for each part of the toy and when it is selected it changes to true which will cause it to be spawned in another scene. however, i can't figure out how to control the actor once i have it completed and spawned. any advice will be appreciated.

    what is the actor exactly, part of the toy? or the whole actor?

    I don't get it please elaborate

    Well, the actors are the parts. I'm using a constrain attribute to make them stick together. What i want to know is if i can have the selected actors spawn in a new scene with a new set of command rules. i.e. movement commands.
