How to unconstrain an attribute

Hello,
Is it possible to unconstrain an attribute? I can't seem to do it.

    Accepted Answer
    put your constrain in a rule, and have the conditions set to only constrain when you want.

    so if you are constraining attribute to lock the actors position to something then put something else in your 'otherwise'
