Hey all,
Does anyone know how I would go about getting my app onto a Kindle or Nook to test it? I have the 2 devices but am not sure how to proceed. Getting it onto an iPhone is easy, but I have no idea how to get it onto the others :)

Download the viewer API, email it to yourself at a gmail account. Download the APK file to your device and install it.

I think there is a cookbook article on it.

That only works on the Kindle Fire though. The Nook process involves cables and rooting, and is a pain in the ass. So just use the Fire. :)

The best option is to use DropBox. I don't know if it also work for the Nook but on Kindle works perfectly.

@markontheiron So I would upload the APK to dropbox and then download it onto the Kindle? Just want to make sure I understand correctly :)

There must be a Dropbox app for the kindle, that would be the best method, you could install right there.

That's what I do. I have an Test folder in my dropbox and whenever I have to test a new build I add the apk file (the signed one) in that folder then when I access it from the Kindle it will download it and ask you if you want to install it, then you're good to go.

Using dropbox is useful if you have multiple testing devices. You upload once and you cann access the apk from whatever device you want.
