Hello everyone,

I have a question. I am pro member so i made android versions of my games and uploaded them to the Amazon and Google Play. And i recognized that Samsung Apps has a Android Part. I tried to upload but i failed because of signing. Have u ever tried to put your games to Samsung or can it be possible ?

    Hmm... That's weird. I just uploaded the same apk I have on Google Play and Amazon.
    Which devices did you select?

    If samsung accepts the apk format you can probably use your usigned apk that GS gives you to sign it in a way they want. This is probably a question for Samsung though as far as what they require and how they want the app to be built. I have not heard of any body here uploading anything to samsung directly

    Yeah youll have to look into samsung and see

    1) what format they take for submission
    2) if theres any internal api's that are required for there builds.

    For example you can actually take a .apk and by using terminal and some stuff turn it into a format that blackberry takes for submission. But it will be missing api's they require in there builds so they will reject it.

    @ycan it was a quite long progress. Where did your upload fail?
  • ycanycan Member, PRO Posts: 207
    1-) I created unsigned and signed apk files. (As same as Amazon or Google Play)
    2-) I add new application in Seller Samsung Apps.
    3-)
    a- First i uploaded unsigned apk file and "Installation directory test violation: Invalid Signing App."
    b- Then i uploaded signed apk file and "Pre-examination rejected"

    @ycan How's your upload going? My app is still in device test.
  • ycanycan Member, PRO Posts: 207
    Hi @manto1 , i got rejected because of unsupported language and "Application doesn't go previous screen when pressing BACK key." problem.

    So i changed language of description and send it back.

    But i don't know how to change Back key problem. :-<

    Ohh. I think we can't do anything for the back key problem. I guess it must be fixed by GS.

    Did your app go to device test?
  • ycanycan Member, PRO Posts: 207
    Yes now they are in Device Test.

    And it should be fixed [-O<

    That's awesome. But be careful when you got settlement report. Samsung and carrier commission is very very bad at Premium SMS. But Card and Carrier billing is good.

    @ycan Thanks for the tip.

    @bazookaBenThe US version doesn't seem have any paid apps. Change country to UK and you'll see paid ones too.

    For example my May settlement report;

    Country Payment Method Settlement Period Sales Amount Canceled Sales Revenue Samsung Commission Transaction Fee Accounting Amount AccountingAmount (USD)
    image

    You can see Samsung Commision and Transaction fee is very very hight :/

    Thanks for sharing. So it seems only UK devs can offer paid apps on Samsung? I don't see any paid apps in the U.S. store either.

    @Holderness_Media_Inc I am from Finland and there's paid apps too. I guess there's paid apps on all the other stores than U.S.

    Edit: I think there's paid apps only in Europe.
