New iPad (iPad 3) best practices for hd result

hello gurus,

i read the topics for new iPad (iPad 3) and i am alittle confused....

I have 1 game in apple store and if i want to make a HD version for the new iPad what should i do?

1.resize all my pics ?
2. use BenVista PhotoZoom Pro 4 or similar program ?

any suggestions ??

    Yep pretty much, I would go to the .psd files or whatever program you use and re export them at double the size.

    except from double sizing the .psd files should i also increase the dpi fro 72 to 300+ ?

    ok thnaks for the tip,

    but ok for the backgrounds i will double the size .... what about the buttons with fonts?? the same case ?? double the size also ??

    When working with retina, design your game as normal assuming a resolution of 1024x768 but import graphics tht are wtwice the size.

    So. An button actor tht is 100x50 should have a graphic of 200x100. GS does the rest

    It isn't supported in ADHOC testing, however, the GS Viewer will show your graphics in full retina resolution. Ex. The game I have been working on displays full Retina with the exception of some backgrounds that are too big for the current version of GS. (2048x1536 graphics are currently installed as 1024x768 and will be swapped out when they can be.)

    well i have an actor 600x533 if i double size it the gs prompts me to resize it automatically......

    @ThemistoklesV Yes. I would get all my assets ready for the Retina Display.

    Oh. I thought resizing our images was enough to make it "retina" ready. Is gamesalad adding the iPad 3 to the resolution independence" thing?
