GS 9.92 Beta for Windows - Preview Mode - Sluggish performance

I just got my invite last night to the GS for windows, and excitedly installed. I only was able to fiddle for about 15 minutes before I had to turn in for the night, but I immediately noticed a serious performance issue. I created a very simple project with 3 total actors and when I previewed to test the movement the performance in the program was very poor.

I will diagram the project below:
I created a Portrait iPad-rez project and put an actor near the bottom in the middle.
I added collision boxes outside the screen on left and right to prevent the character from leaving the area.
I added a Right-arrow button press rule to accelerate the actor right, and on the "else" I created a Left-arrow button press rule to accelerate the actor left.

When I preview this the movement was very choppy as if the FPS of the preview was very low. I expected such an extraordinarily simple setup to be smooth as butter, but was not the case.

Is this a known issue with the Windows "Preview" mode in the program?

PC Specs:
AMD Phenom II X6 1090T (3.2Ghz)
8GB DDR3 1600 RAM
GeForce GTX 560 Ti (1GB RAM)
Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit

Are you having slow "preview mode" performance as well?

I use it on a Mac, but the windows is in early beta, so all problems need to be reported

I'm not reporting a bug yet if it's something specific with my computer only. Thus the reason I am asking this question here for others to chime in with their actual experience. If it's found to be an issue outside of my single instance then a bug will be reported.

Tested the file on my slower macbook and the preview is pretty smooth. Definitely a PC program issue there. To any devs: I tried to file a bug report but the page it tries to take me to after logging in (http://arcade.gamesalad.com/auth//feedback) does not and has a 404 Not Found error.
