You are trying to do two separate things.

Publishing provides you an adhoc or distribution build depending on the provisioning profile you used, one you load via iTunes, the other you upload to apple.

When previewing on your iPad, you are going through the viewer which you need to have loaded.

I suggest you take a look at the cookbook, they have some great tutorials.

im hitting the button through gamesalad.... after publishing it says Congratulations.... then I hit test on my device..... then on my iPad it says "My app Failed to load"

I know that testing can be down through the GS viewer. I just really wanted a version that had an icon with it that didn't load through the GS viewer... more so to check out the icon I built for it... I have done this before and it loaded fine on my iPad, but now all it says is in a window called "iTunes Sync 'Plocks!' failed to install."

I don't understand why this isn't working... when it worked just last week. I have restarted my iPad, updated the software, updated iTunes... Does this feature just not work anymore... or what could I be doing wrong.

It kinda worries me because now I wonder if the app can even be opened by Apple if I send it to them.
