Hi,

I have a project like dictionary game. I have a 4000-5000 audio files. To play them with a rule is very complex. I want to play them by reading tables. But i failed. Do you have any suggestion ?

I know that Images you can directly address them by their proper file name like "ball.png" so if you are trying to adress music files you would have to adress them by their proper file name "Track.mp3"

I've never done it so I couldn't say. But since the play music and sound behaviors don't have access to the expression editor I would say it doesn't seem possible but who knows.

I mentioned this to the GS team during a live QA session and they never got back to me. I tried doing it but without an expression editor for the audio file it isn't possible, that I know of. It would be REALLY helpful if they ended up allowing us to use a table cells to point to audio files.

I have approx 1,000 spoken sentences to add and by lord my brain will be meat if I have to create a rule for each one to point to each audio file !!! o_0

ooh and also, if I have 1000 rules on that one scene will my app come to a painful slowdown ?
I'm basically cross checking a variable with a table position and then playing the sound effect.
