Hi All,

I've posted a beginner tutorial on how to create basic platformer style movement. It's intended for those just starting out with Gamesalad, in addition to how to do the movement I discuss some Gamesalad basics. If you are interested or have a chance check it out. I'd love any feedback you have. Is it clear, is it too basic, is it helpful, etc.

I'd like to do a bunch of this style, recipes for specific things associated with a platform style game, for example, recipes for:

ladders
pick-ups
adding images and animations
slopes
advanced movement
enemies

etc.

Let me know your thoughts if you have time to check it out.
Thanks
Jamie

Looks great! That must have been a lot of work. Hope to see more from you...

I'm glad you included the video and game project file at the bottom. You might want to mention that early on or move them to the top, as I didn't have the patience to read through everything and was thinking I'd rather watch a video. It's great to have it written out as a references, but sometimes a video is just more efficient.

@Nmdogdude, Glad you found it useful, your welcome.
