After the advice given to me about extending good will on the forums..I've decided to let Fred Rogers explain my point of view on life for me. Enjoy!

    So nice. He's giving you the recipe/seeds for success right there folks. Just plant them and let your mind do the rest


    You gotta let it warm up. I know that there is a level of awkward with Mr. Rodgers at first (he's overly friendly and could be mistaken as Chris Hansen's next guest these days), but he planted/reinforced the concepts and fundamentals of creative thinking for millions of children.

    MisterRogers … talks down to children … yuck!
    some parents like when adults do that … not me!

    giveMe … Captain Kangaroo … he talks to kids as they are … people

    @MotherHoose yeah Captain Kangaroo was pretty cool! He made Mr. Rogers seem like a mortician.

    I'd agree that Mr.Rodgers had a way of talking down to the audience, the messages were good just kinda long winded and pastel.
