Lycette Bros. will soon release what we think is an amazing new app that crosses boundaries of documentary/education/entertainment...here is a sneak preview. Although not made with GS it would be if GS supported video (hint).
Seriously we might make a free preview app with GS though if it makes sense....

    It is all shot with video (real insects - not modelled).

    This is a sneak preview of our upcoming app, "Real Creepy Crawlies" for iPhone and iPad. You can get up close and personal with a selection of creepy crawlies including a Tarantula, Giant Cockroach, Centipede, Stick Insect, Scorpion and a couple of friendly Leeches.

    We see this app as a cross between a documentary, reference and play thing. It basicaly lets you 'hold' creepy crawlies in the palm of your hand (iPhone/ipad) and zoom into their details to study and watch.

    Real Creepy Crawlies has been approved. Lite version is awaiting review as I write.

    Real Creepy Crawlies and Real Creepy Crawlies Lite will be released on Tuesday 30th October 2012 - Australian Time (so Monday US time).

    That is really cool, I'm curious how you did this. Did you actually film the creepies yourself and break the movies into individual frames of animation?

    I wouldn't be surprised to see some frames of this in an Apple iPad commercial someday!
