How do I update my App in google play?

I hope it's an easy question but I can't seem to find where to update my game in google play for the Andriod market.

    When you click on one of your games from the developer console: On the top you have tabs for product and APK files. In APK files there is a button for new APK.

    VERY NICE! I thought there was an "update application" button somewhere but once you upload the new APK, you simply make the new app active and it takes down the old one.
