Hi All,

Looking at picking up a Macbook to jump into Game Salad. 2.16GHz, 1GB Ram, 80GB HDD, OS 10.6 - will this be adequate to run the program?

Thanks in advance!

Ohhh, I would go for at least 2GB on the ram. 4 would be best.

More ram the better. Other than that it looks good

My gut feel is you'll want more ram, im sure it will run on 1gb but you'll prob want more. Welcome and enjoy :)

I have the newest most basic mac mini with 2 gigs and 10.6

It works but gets slow and i have to restart GS every 5min

Photoshop really has a tough time too. Doesn't close but loads area dog
the other thing you will want to consider is that it has a tough time with video on imovie
you will likely end up using that more than you might think

As far as video it plays games and does everything else fine with 2

I guess the next question is Mac Mini vs MacBook... More power in the mini for similar price, I can get the bigger screen, but lose the portability of the MacBook...
