Need help with touch screen movements

I am very new to game salad and need help to move a char with touch screen, I cant use the the template because some buttons are uneeded for me and when I delete them it messes ujp everything..
I am on windows so I cant merge... PLEASE HELP
Also I want it to be able to rotate too

    Dude you have to be clear about what you're doing. Are you taking about the joystick controls?

    you can recreate the code from the template if you right click on the game file to open it as a folder you will find the art to copy into your game. using those controls are kinda beyond the new user so I would stick to using a more basic set of controls and then when you've learned more impliment the joystick controls.
