Does GameCenter work with Mac Apps?

has anyone tried this before? I tried searching and came up short. I wanted to see if anyone tested it before I commit the time.

    If you have a Mac developer account and download Mountain Lion, then yes. If you don't have a developer account for Mac, than it won't work.

    have you done this with game salad? that was what my question was specifically about, not macs and game center in general.

    It does work with GameSalad.

    Just bumping this again, has anyone actually attempted this? Did it work or are you talking just in theory?

    I might give it a shot tomorrow if I have some time just to put it to bed.

    I've just published and signed a Mac app, but Game Center functionality does not seem to work - not even a dialogue box appears.
    I just wanted to connect the iOS and Mac versions of Spooky Hoofs in a Game Center leaderboard group...
    Or will GC only work once the mac app is on the store? I don't think so...?

    Sorry for bumping the old thread, but I have a question related - does GameSalad support GameCenter for Mac now?
    Because I have everything set up, and it still doesn't work.

    GameSalad's Mac publishing does not currently support Gamecenter. It's an iOS only feature at this point.
    This is still true today
