Is there a way with using GameSalad, that the person playing the game can still listen to their own music?

Buy another iPod, or sing maybe!

GS is a self-contained sandbox...only thing it can do outside of itself is open a web-page in Safari (requires a $2000 pro membership).

Dang. There are people saying that that is the only problem with my game.

Your game has no problem then.

Seriously, it's a nice feature, but I'd rather have a game that I enjoyed and played well but had its own music to something rubbish that sucked but let me listen to my own music.

Try not to worry about it too much.

Yes, that very true. Do you a good free site for sounds, such as blowing up something, blocks hitting each other? I would at least like to have some sound effects with my game, but I don't want to spend extra money at this point.

    www.soundsnap.com (subscription...but relatively cheap)
    www.flashkit.com (freebies)

    Try this free app:

    http://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/sfxr/id349840825?mt=8

you can make some great classic sounds with it, and email them to yourself. And did I mention it's free? :)

everyone should know that with iOS 4.0 support, the users can play their own music. It can't be done from within the game, but you can multitask out to iPod, start playing music and go back to the game. Works pretty well.

Yep, make sure you have a music volume control option - or an on/off one - in your game somewhere!

Just been playing Kraken with music from the latest series of Doctor Who. Bloody hell, it's EPIC :D

    QS ;)
