    from the release:

    Mac OS X Support:

In keeping with Apple's requirements, after this release we no longer support Snow Leopard or older OS's. This also means that all 32 bit support will be dropped, and users must utilize a 64 bit processor going forward. As this is Apple mandated, we hope that you understand the necessity behind this change, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Some also decide to get a virtual machine and run it on that, but is not the best idea for many reasons. I know lots of people who are going to have to be forced to upgrade because of GameSalad.
    Good luck!

I really think that GS should continue to offer 0.9.x for those people that can't upgrade to Lion yet. Some people have older macs that don't support Lion. They could at least continue to refine their game until they are ready to publish then go buy a new 64bit Mac.

The issue isn't GS but Apple. Apple's view on maintenance etc is simple. Less devices types and configurations equates to easier OS development and stability. Look at windows and the myriad of hardware configs it needs to handle.

Same reason why most of us target iOS rather than Android. A limited number of specifications to be worried about.

in the notice, they only said improvements for web publishing, retina support etc but very little fixes. is the sound issue i heard for android solved?

really wish there would have been some kind of warning that the update would mean i suddenly can't use the program anymore... real bad timing

In the past people have said to download an old version just amend the URL from 0.x.xx to the version you want!

lots of people only come to the forums after they find a problem, not check them every week incase. email or clear warning on the updater wouldn't have hurt

Yea, a weekly/monthly newsletter about upcoming changes, new features and what's going on in the community would be awesome.
