-DBA Icon Creator-NOT working on OS X Mountain Lion-

Hey there GS-members

So first of all I know that DBA sold the DBA Icon Creator to anyone.

But a few minutes ago i realized that the creator doen't work on Mountain Lion. i got the error message below when i try to open the application on OS X Mountain Lion. This is really bad. Has anyone got the same error and does anyone know how i can run the application now on my mac? I really need that application to test my icon in all sizes!!

    Works on my Mac mini 2.4 ghz 2 gb ram Mountain Lion.

    As far as I know they will not issue a fix or an update since they sold the rights to another company or individual.

    However, it is working for me (2011 MBA with Mountain Lion)

    Hi Benjamin,
    The [DBA Icon Creator] App needs to be inside the same folder as the [_SupportFiles]. When you first downloaded the Tool, the App and this folder would have been together inside a folder.

    It could be you've moved the App outside of this folder, and the tool can't find the resources to load. Locate the [_SupportFiles] folder on your Hard Drive, and move the app to the same location and try again.

    The last version of the tool I have (Version 1.3) seems to run OK on Lion and Mountain Lion.

    actually its woerking just fine for me, but the new apple store policy asks that we have 1024x1024 icons (im assuming for the iPad 3and retina macbook purposes) and the dba icon creator doesn't have this option

    @wayneh001 thanks much for the quick answer! i will try to locate the _SupportFolder again. Will post if it worked :)

    Thanks to all. Yes it's terrible that they sold the rights! and 1024 support would be awesome!!! but you can use it for test the look of the icon anyway!

    @3xL wow! that's stupid!! bought it for 3$ and now 40$. !! Didn't know that it is at the App Store..

    @Benjamin_m5 In the future you need to contact DBA directly. They have their own site and forums. This forum is intended for the GameSalad support. not DBA support.
