Retina Macbook Pro GS viewer Problems

So i had a major hardware failure a few weeks ago. my poor 17" 2011 late macbook pro completely died threw a power surge. *always use surge protectors!* so i ended up getting a retina macbook pro. Anyways i kinda have this werid issue where you can only view part of your work area.....i have a attached picture to explain.

So any help with this let me know...cant really work on stuff with this error. Iv tried the following already

Re-Download
Re-Installed
Re-Installed OS
Different version of GS

    close gamesalad
    right click on the application file
    check the box that says something like "open in low resolution mode" or something

    problem solved :)

    Awesome this did work...so when is GS going to support retina?
