Question for everyone.

ok so gamesalad was designed for creating "games" right? would it be ok to use to to create educational apps too? could this work? or other apps such as information apps ? may be a silly question but I'm just curious?

    It's a tool for creating apps. Many people choose to make games with it but it's not limited to game creation. Off the top of my head, I've seen educational (math, spelling, science) "games," guitar apps, children's eBooks, etc.

    Yes you can certainly use it for any kind of app creation you can imagine. If you can create what you need with Gamesalad why looks elsewhere! Go for it!

    Whoa,...throttle back now!

    What types of feature will the app have and what functions will it need? (print, microphone, Camera, access to school database etc.). Give us some key features that you would need via for your applications, as there ARE some limitations that you'll want to be aware of and address before going further.
