Exactly how does the pricing work?

I'm not seeing any clear description of how this actually works. I'm guessing it's a subscription service, yes? $299 per year gets you the right to publish your apps through GameSalad...? I see references to a $1999 program on the web. What's that? I also see some discussion about the GameSalad splash screen. If you go pro at $299 do you still have a GameSalad branded game? It would be great to see a concise explanation of how this works posted somewhere obvious.

Thanks.

The $1999 was the early pro price. The current pro price is $299pa. Pro membership allows you to drop the GS screen and replace with your own.,

Here's the list what is and isn't pro http://gamesalad.com/creator/pricing

The $299 is the current price for 1 year of membership. There have been past pricing models, which is where you saw the $1999.

Both Pro and Free users can use custom splash pages, which means no app is GS branded (excluding HTML, which is a different issue entirely).

The price was $499 months back and then dropped to the current $299. The Pro membership is a good deal and those features give you more options for your game and more options to make money.

You don't need the $299 pro account to publish your games, only the $99 ios developer account from apple
