Hi Everyone,
I am trying to make a bowling game. It is a first person bowler, so the view is as if you were really bowling. I am new to this and have searched everywhere looking for a solution to no avail.
What I am having problems with is trying to get a ball roll down the alleyway and the camera follow it to the pins.

Can anyone help me with this?

Thanks in advance!

I don't think this will be possible. GameSalad is only 2D

The camera would not be able to follow the ball because you cannot create a 3d environment in gamesalad. This could be done using image animations. Like the lane seeming to evolve as the ball is moving and the end of the lane with the pins getting bigger and bigger. if you know what i mean.

I know GS is only 2d, but I figured there has to be a way to simulate this effect. Even if the camera does not follow the ball, how do I make the ball go from one point to another? Like say the phone is in the portrait mode, the player is at the bottom and the pins are at the top. How do I make the ball go from the bottom to top. I can make it shrink as it moves to the top to simulate it moving away.

You can do that too. Heres an image example:

So you would do whatever action to activate the ball's movement, and the camera can indeed follow the ball up the scene. (the blue square over the scene it the camera)

If this is what you seek, then yes it is indeed possible.

Yeah, thats kind of what I had in mind. What I'm trying to figure out is how to launch the ball and get it to move to the pins.

    Take a look at this:

It teaches you how to shoot a ball using a self controlled force and angle.
