Universal Binaries

I have got an idea for an app, but how should it integrate with Universal Binaries. I want it on iPad and iPhone but I want to start developing it now. Would it be better to make a retina iPad version now, and then when Universal Binaries are available convert it to both?

    I wouldn't wait for gamesalad to adopt universal binaries. There are several methods for converting one is DBA project resizer all you need to do is redo any x y move code.
