How long does activating a Studica Pro purchase take?

Hi, I'm just wondering how long pro features take to be activated after purchase from Studica.
I purchased a pro account from Studica 6 days ago and my student verification was accepted 24 hours ago.

Anyone have an idea on when the GS people do their thing?
Hoping to update my games and release them before xmas

Thanks

It's a manual process as studica has to let GS know when verification is complete. Send SSS a pm and he can help

Okay thanks, I sent a pm to SSS last Wednesday but haven't got a reply yet so I'll have to be patient.

You could resend that message - maybe he forgot to reply. I'll just tag him incase he see this. @SaladStraightShooter

I'm having a similar issue as well. I followed up today with Studica and they stated that "they sent Game Salad my information on 1/30/2013 and have not heard back" It's been 5 days since I purchased Pro through them. The charge has been on my card since then as well. Is this truly on GS or is this Studica?

I just applied for Studica. How does it link to my GS account?
I did not give them my GS account username/email or password.

Also, can we still get the Valentines day deal with Studica?

    Thanks,

Ok, I just got the email saying I was approved by Studica. So... what do I do now?

Also, it says I have no ordered item even though I already ordered it...
Should I of been approved before I ordered it? This is pretty confusing.

    @SaladStraightShooter

But I never gave Studica my GameSalad info. So.. how would they know to send it to you for my account?

Did I do this wrong or something? I went to studica.com/gamesalad, bought it, go my account, and submitted something with my school's letterhead.

I do notice that it says no orders on my account... Maybe I wasn't logged in when I made the purchase. I'll check my paypal to see if they took the money or not.

But still, I didn't give them GS info at any point, so how would you know to make my account pro?

    Thanks,
    - Thomas

Ok, so I figured out that I did buy it through Paypal.

So how would they know my GS account details? Also, if I bought it through Paypal, how do I prove I'm a student? Thanks a lot.

@SnapFireStudios did you sign up to Studica using your Facebook account?

That's what I did and as far as proving your identity as a legitimate student/professor, I think they would simply look at your Facebook profile. They even went ahead and took the liberty to send the order to my PayPal (was having an issue placing the order before, then they fixed it, and went ahead and sent in the order for me).

Perhaps they cross-reference the year of graduation you inputted in one of the sign up processes, with your Facebook account details, assuming you indicated there when you're graduating. Our main account's been Pro for months now without any problems.

Er.. Well no, I used PayPal. In fact I used an adult's PayPal, so I sure hope they don't get it from there...

When was the last time you contacted Studica about the matter? I hate to keep referencing Facebook, but try contacting them through their Facebook page - when we were having problems with our account, we contacted them through there at different times of the day and we'd get quick and not to mention really informative replies.

It wouldn't hurt. Otherwise, try to ask about getting your money back (not sure about their policy on that, though). Good luck.

Ok, I messaged them on Facebook about it.

However, if @SaladStraightShooter could take another look, that'd be great.

    Thanks,

I'll bring this back up if what I just did doesn't work.
