GS Bug?

Hey guys whacked together this quick video. Sorry if I sound Zombie like. Mostly Zombie, but also Tired and annoyed. :(

So basically the actor is set to change position once it's position is less than X. But it won't.

Its a little hard for me to follow exactly what is going on.

Is the actor going too far off the edge of the scene? If the x position is further than about 510 pixels from the edge of the scene it will be destroyed. (I suppose you can test that by making the scene a lot wider.)

Nah yeah i've set the scenes x Width to like 8000.

    Same problem.

    OK -- second guess;

Unfortunately the video is blurry and I can't make out if the rule has any/all set the wrong way. Also, is "<" used (or does it say "=").

    If self pos x is ≤ x ( I also tried < ) change self position x to x.

Well... so much for the obvious things to check!

I agree that what you have should work. But I'd be surprised if its a GS bug.

I'd be happy to check out the file if you want to post it for downloading.

Hey man post an image of your actor's rules , that way we can see what's going on in that actor.

Hey it fixed it lol thanks. THought that was a GS update thing :P

Yes GS software has been putting commas in fields. I noticed this as well as their being default decimal places in integers?

    Glad you got it fixed!

By the way I can't seem to get commas to show up in my fields. I've tried it using both the expression editor and just typing into the field. But no automatic commas!

But anyway -- glad you figured it out and got it fixed.

Will do. It's me and FBS by the looks of it. I was copying and pasting from the self position to the change att. Thought nothing of it.

    PS - I'm pretty sure i'm a Pro Member? Where's my Tag D: lol.
