Cant make my level bigger than 1,024? in width?

Hello guys. I come to realize maybe its something on my end. But I am creating a level and I want it at least to be 2,024 or 4,024 width but every time I change the numbers it will automatically turn back to 1,024. Can someone please help me with this issue thank you.
