Yep, logging in is fairly random, some days it's fairly straightforward, other days you can waste half an hour trying every trick in the book to get yourself logged in, if you do manage to do it there's no guarantee that you won't be logged out 15 minutes later, other times it's just impossible and you just need to wait a few hours and try again later.
