iPad game app generation, BUGS?

So I created a game on my laptop, the next phase is to upload it to my ipad to test it. I went to "generate app", which seemed to work fine. But I cannot seem to pass this "sign app" process. Gamesalad is opened and app appears to be uploaded, but then I run into all these error screens and things I seem to be missing, I have no idea what they are.

Error messages: 1) the folder "provisioning profiles" does not exist 2) a provisioning profile with matching developer identity is required to publish iPhone games (I'm not interested in publishing the game, just downloading and testing it on an ipad!)

Then I'm sent to a link, which ends in an error screen telling me that the following page is not found: http://gamesalad.com/wiki/developing_for_iphone:preparing_for_build

Am I required to have some sort of paid account in order to simply create an ipad app? Or is this instead an error on the part of Gamesalad or myself?

While you can preview an app in GameSalad Creator, if you want to preview it on a device using GameSalad Viewer for iOS or installed as an adhoc version on a device, you will need a paid Apple Developer account configured with provisioning profiles.

You can find additional information about this process here: http://idtech365.internaldrive.com/tutorials/installing-the-gamesalad-viewer-on-your-apple-device.

And here (remove the $): http$://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ycTAv4wqMNQ

The GameSalad Wiki has not be accessible for some time. I'm not sure why you're being directed to an outdated link.
