Need math help

I'm trying to create an object that randomly moves around the screen smoothly in a curve and every once in a while, do a loop, like a roller coaster. Kind of like... a fly? Can anyone help me with the code for this? It's beyond my programming and math skills. Thx in advance.

Randomly in a curve ? That's a little like saying it follows a straight line that bends. )

But if they are not what you are after and you have a specific type of movement in mind I think I could probably work it out for you (or close enough at least).

Try experimenting with sinx. If you can menage your actor will move like this;
