Problem with a Templade bought in the MarketPlace

in Working with GS (Mac)
Hi guys !
I've bought a template in the MarketPlace (http://marketplace.gamesalad.com/#product=11772) for 9.99$, but i don't understand why the second scene "Menu" the buttons (start, help, etc) and the background also are not where i placed them in the edition mode. Can the autor of the template help me or one of his user ?

    Tech support for purchased products (e.g. from the Marketplace) is provided by the seller, assuming the product includes such support.

    The reason it's difficult for forum members to provide help is that we don't have access to the file (and therefore the code), nor did we sell you the product.

    The templates in the market place may not have been created by GS. But they were created with the GS creator and vetted and approved to be sold here on the GS Market Place. Though GS takes no responsibility for any problems you come across with a item you purchased. You are still free to ask questions concerning anything that deals with a project of any kind that you are editing within the creator. Templates are not 3rd party softwares. They are educational examples that you can use to learn from. So feel free to ask any questions you have.

    But it would help people if you showed screenshots of what your problem is. Give us a screenshot of the coding. ETC ETC. But just because you bought it at the GS marketplace. Does not mean its a no no to ask here. Im sure you will find someone here who knows exactly what your problem is.

    @FINNBOGG yes, thanks for adding that. I certainly didn't mean to imply that questions couldn't be asked... we're all ears. We just may have cloudy ears if we don't know the template personally.

    no no wasnt pointing that in any direction.. I just noticed he has 2 posts total. So that told me he was completely new. So I wanted make sure we didnt give him cause to give up. And assure him the forums is the place to be.

    Ive never bought at the market place. If and when someone has a issue like this. Does the MP make it easy to contact the seller?

    More often than not when a user has a problem positioning actors in one of our templates its because they placed them on the wrong layer.

    Simply dragging actors in the scene will result in them being on the top layer and this maybe the wrong layer.

    Go to scene/layers and see if the actor is on the correct layer (some layers may have scrollable unchecked).

    Say you have layers with enemies, stars, platforms and you want to place another platform simple click once on a platform actor and then drag another platform actor in the scene will enable that actor to the correct layer.

    Darrin. Im still not able to view any of the video links in the DBA centre I get a white pop up and nothing else.

    Umm support comes from the seller. Straight up. Piggybacking support on a site other than your own looks reeeeaaal slick. Hit the seller FIRST. That being said, support options for marketplace assets and templates need some streamlining.

    I don't think It's a question of layer because i good placed them in the editor and when i click to test the application, the background is in the correct position, and i can only see the half of one of the 4 buttons ("help") in the bottom.
    AND When i change of scene from "Logo" to menu I can see the other buttons few seconds.

    Here's the problem: we don't know the template. So when you say things like the "the background [is] not where i placed [it] in the edition mode," I have no idea what you're talking about. You would need to post a video of what's happening, preferably with you narrating the problem and what you've done to try and fix it. If it's code-related, you would need to post screenshots of the relevant code.

    Benjolos...... feel free to ask anything you wish here. Someone will help if they can... Maybe tell us which template you are refering to? Share a link to the templates page. etc etc. Take screenshots of the issue etc etc.

    Only problems with this template, last day i've put a background, change some designs, and today when i open my project, nothing, just a black sreen.
