Please help with enter the safe box codes

Hello, I have a safe box. during the game player has to enter the cod of the safe. I have screen image of the safe with numbers from 0 to 9, to indicators green and red and safe box windows (where you can see the entered codes). I do not have any idea how to do that like. if the player press the number 2 he can see number 2 on the windows screen. cod contains 8 numbers. if the cod right the indicator green will be light. if cod wrong the indicator red will be light. Please help(

    A cod is a fish (see http://forums.gamesalad.com/discussion/53376/how-cool-is-this-for-a-late-xmas-present). A code is what you're wanting.

    To communicate between actors, use game-level attributes or store the numbers in a table. If you are familiar with tables and instances (vs. prototypes), you should be able to figure out this demo. If not, I suggest you start with the Cookbook Videos, or gshelper.com or the tutorial link provided in my signature to learn some GameSalad basics first.

    @alarm656 that's fine... I just wanted to make sure you could open it since it's a Mac file.
