Noob here

Hey guys! I'd like to introduce myself: my name is Sam, and this is my first time using GameSalad. I've used stencyl for a while now, and I'm looking to explore other options for game designing. So, tell me about you guys!

Hey Sam, welcome to the forums. I think you'll like GameSalad, as it is another drag and drop SDK like Stencyl. The big difference I think you'll find is the helpful community we have here, and the literally hundreds of training videos and templates to get you going, and learning the software.

Take a look at all of the videos on youtube, these will help you get a great understanding how easy it is to start with GameSalad.

There is also gshelper.com with more videos, and free templates as well as some fabulous paid templates.

And there is also Gleeson Group Media

And Deep Blue has some amazing 3rd party programs that work with GameSalad, and a plethora of templates as well.

And then of course there are these forums, where people are more than willing to help you if you get stuck with something and can't figure it out on your own.

I think you'll like it here, and again, welcome to the forums!
