downloaded os 4.0 NOW what

how do I get 4.0 on my device? I have searched these forums (i know I saw it) and the apple site and I am really feeling like an idiot!

please help!

    on the itunes developer connection you will find a 4.0 beta sectio where you will find the firmware and the new xcode. :)

    Hold ctrl alt and CMD when you go to update/restore your device on itunes and select the file that you download from apple developer.

    is sodium acetate toxic? Another science question :P

    I used XCode's Organizer window, and in there you can point to the v4 ipsw file, to restore the selected device to v4.

    In iTunes, you can also hold down the option key wheyou hit restore and browse to the 4.0 Ipsw

    I wish they had one for th eipad already :)

    But this has acetate in it, its not salt. totally different. If you mix it with water and put it in the fridge you can make instant ice. :D

    I dont think we should use this forum for chemical reactions - may have disasterous results.

    So back to GS related stuff. I have OS 4 working. What's the difference? How do I multitask or whatever?

    drag one icon into another... and be amazed!

    you cannot multitask on 3g and ipodTouch 2g otherwise double tap home button. And you can change your home wallpaper.

    4.0 is seems to be killing my 2nd gen iPod battery! How do I go back a version?
